EMS USA’s EHS & Compliance Business Unit ensures that all EMS Business Units work with the same consolidated policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to Environmental, Health, Safety and Compliance issues. The professionals of this group bring years of experience in the energy industry and provide regulatory support as well as safety support to both our internal Business Units and our clients.  Additionally, the EHS & Compliance Division works with our clients to address new and ever-changing regulatory issues.

Environmental, Health, Safety, and Compliance
EMS USA can assist you in summarizing policies, setting safety initiatives, providing training, and preventing incidents with your operations. Our team can also offer safety support on project work by providing professional safety training and even on-site, experienced safety inspectors.

EMS USA represents clients on audits involving OQ, Compliance, Integrity, O&M, and Pipeline Safety. Audits are scheduled by federal agencies, such as the Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) and/or state agencies. The professionals in the EHS & Compliance Division track and review client regulatory compliance to ensure there are no “nasty” surprises during the audit.

EMS USA provides regulatory support, especially in the areas of compliance support such as Operations Qualifications (OQ), development of operation & maintenance manuals (Part 192 & 195), computerized notification for routine regulatory mandated operational and maintenance checks, regulatory filings, and providing technical advice on regulatory issues.  Other services include developing Integrity Management Plans, Public Awareness Plans, OQ Plans, and SPCC Plans.
