President and Chief Operating Officer
James S. “Steve” Schroder is the President and Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the global energy business. Mr. Schroder oversees and manages all activity throughout North America.

Prior to joining EMS Mr. Schroder held various managerial positions within the Baker Hughes organization, most recently was the General Manager/Director of Baker Hughes Pipeline Management Group, Inc. During his tenure at the Baker Hughes organization Mr. Schroder has held key management positions in Sales, Operations, Technology and Manufacturing.

Throughout his career, Mr. Schroder has led, and been a key sponsor in multiple acquisitions and integrations. He is a current member of NACE International and the American Petroleum Institute.

Mr. Schroder holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
