Director – Strategic Planning

As the Director of Strategic Planning, Mr. Fowler directs and deploys strategic initiatives for the company. 

Mr. Fowler brings over 25 years of industry experience to EMS with a diversified international background that includes experience in finance, operations and strategic planning leadership roles worldwide.  He has added millions of dollars in incremental value to public and private organizations throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe. However, Mr. Fowler is no stranger to EMS’s business:  as a consultant, he worked with our Marketing Director and senior management in 2007 to assist in the early formulation of EMS’s unified brand and cross-selling growth strategies.

Mr. Fowler holds a BA with honors from the University of Sussex, is a Chartered Accountant (ACA), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA) and a Six Sigma Black Belt, and has completed Rice University’s Executive Program for Managers and the Boy Scouts of America’s (BSA) Wood Badge program. 

Mr. Fowler is a member of the: Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA), Financial Executives Networking Group (The FENG), Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and Boy Scouts of America (BSA). He is active in multiple leadership roles with the BSA’s Cub, Scout and Venture programs and with other community organizations.
