Mr. Rome is a senior pipeline operations and measurement services executive with extensive expertise in natural gas and liquid pipelines, underground storage operations, gas processing operations, offshore pipeline operations, DOT/EPA/OSHA Regulations, emergency response, contract negotiations, and acquisitions and divestitures. 

Prior to joining EMS Group I in 2003, Mr. Rome was an independent consultant to various companies and was President of Hanover Measurement Services Company from 1999-2001.  He has been successful in implementing outsourcing strategies to monetize pipeline metering systems, operate and maintain pipeline metering assets on behalf of other pipeline companies, integrate natural gas meter readings for outsourced pipeline companies, and has reduced operating expenses by several million dollars on an annual recurring basis.

Mr. Rome effectively planned, directed, and managed Gulf Coast operations onshore and offshore gas pipelines, several gas processing facilities and salt cavern gas storage facilities, including the energy industry’s largest gas storage field.  He holds a BS degree from Fort Hays State University, Hays Kansas.
