All EMS USA employees undergo extensive safety training programs that specifically match the required safety training to the project they will be performing at the various facilities where they work.

While this Business Unit’s primary focus was originally pipeline-related, the complex demands of an ever-evolving market have spurred the Business Unit to gear up to meet the needs presented to us by our customers and the many regulatory agencies who oversee today’s energy industry.

Some of our representative projects:

  • Installation of four new high volume natural gas compressor facilities.
  • Installation of 36” Diesel and Gasoline Pig Traps
  • Daily Maintenance and Regulatory Compliance on over 2,000 miles of pipelines
  • New Pipeline Construction from 2” to 36”
  • Over 1,000 miles yearly of Hydro testing from 2” to 36” pipe.

One of our biggest keys to success is safety.
EMS USA’s Construction East Business Unit strives to be a leader in safety.  We provide you with the most advanced safety training for our employees using computer based safety training, classroom based training and Internet based training.  This training includes all OSHA compliance training, excavation safety training (including competent person training), behavior-based safety training, site and job specific training, and equipment operator safety and qualification training.

Our safety programs are reviewed by various agencies and have successfully met all requirements of the following review boards:

  • National Compliance Management Services
  • PEC/Premier
  • ISNetworld RAVS Review
  • Pacific Industrial Contractors Screening

Pipeline Operator Qualifications
EMS USA provides a diversely qualified work force, which includes the many employees who have met the rigorous requirements of the Pipeline Operator Qualification Rule (49 CFR 192(N) and 49 CFR 195(G).  Our personnel are qualified through the use of the Pipeliner Training and Assessment Program (PTAP), which was developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).  For our many natural gas customers, EMS USA provides pipeline personnel qualified through the Veriforce Program, a recognized leader in the natural gas industry for Operator Qualification.

We take great pride in the outstanding reputation we have built as a solid, dependable service provider to the energy industry.  We are just as proud that we have built a workplace that values and appreciates its employees.  The atmosphere we have created and the benefits we offer have allowed us to build a team that is uniquely committed to excellence in our service to the nation’s energy providers.
