GIS and Mapping
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications have been utilized to increase the efficiency of pipeline engineering and operations, and to support asset integrity and regulatory compliance. Drafting
Computer Assisted Design and Drafting (CADD) applications have been utilized in the energy industry for years. Utilizing a variety of drafting software applications, our team of professional drafters works closely with our engineers and our client’s engineers to support industry operations and to fulfill government policies requirements. EMS USA provides an equally wide range of drafting services, including alignment sheet generation, as-built drawings, system drawings, plot plans, easement documentation drawings, design drawings, and drawing modifications.
Field Surveying
EMS USA performs conventional and GPS surveys. Coupled with GIS and Drafting, these surveys can be utilized to accurately map pipelines, locate structures along the pipeline right-of-way, provide inputs to engineering drawings, determine the location and extent of environmentally sensitive or high consequence areas, and more. Most often, accurate survey data is required to maintain compliance with the U.S. DOT Codes and the various requirements of state regulatory agencies. Additional field services include surveying for as-built drawings, well staking, and plot plans and easements (which can be certified by our RPLS on staff).
