Tom Paden has over 30 years of experience in Pipeline Rehabilitation and Repair Services.  His current role is General Manager of EMS’s Construction and Rehabilitation Services West.  

Mr. Paden oversees all pipeline project work, new construction, maintenance, and pipeline integrity work for the clients of this business unit.  During Hurricane Rita, he managed all emergency response operations for Shell Pipeline and ExxonMobil Pipeline in Beaumont, TX and surrounding areas.  While engaged in the South East Texas area, he was involved in new business development, bringing in new clients for EMS USA, and managing a transition period during acquisition.  He has also been responsible for current expansions into new areas of operation including the Barnett Shale, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and the EMS Florida Joint Venture. 

Mr. Paden’s background encompasses an exposure to diverse facets of administration, quality control, and personnel supervision.  He has effectively led teams and managed resources for some of the largest pipeline operators in the world.  He has established and maintained rapport with many individuals from diverse background and experience levels.  Mr. Paden is well-informed and experienced with government regulations on federal, state, and local levels.
